DAY 1 Friday


Leave tonight on an overnight jet flight for Zagreb (flight not included).

DAY 2 Saturday

ZAGREB (Dinner)

We shall meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. You have the rest of the day at leisure to get acquainted with Zagreb. For tonight, we have planned a welcome dinner.

DAY 3 Sunday

ZAGREB (Breakfast)

This morning, we show you our Zagreb. Your tour includes the historic Upper Town, St. Mark’s and St. Catherine’s Churches, the Cathedral, the Parliament building and the Government Palace. You have another afternoon free to relax or go sightseeing.

DAY 4 Monday

ZAGREB - SARAJEVO (Breakfast, Dinner)

It’s an all-day trip as we drive through the rolling Croatian countryside, en route to Sarajevo, which we reach around dinner time.

DAY 5 Tuesday

SARAJEVO - DUBROVNIK (Breakfast, Dinner)

Sarajevo has come under the influence of many cultures and civilizations. You will see examples of this on our tour of the city, visiting the colorful Turkish bazaar, ‘Bas Carsija’ and the Husref Bey Mosque. We take you to the Olympic Stadium and the War Tunnel Museum. As we continue along mountain roads and along the spectacular Neretva River gorge to Dubrovnik, we stop for a brief tour in Mostar to see the remains of the Turkish quarter and the reconstruction of the 16th century single arch stone bridge.

DAY 6 Wednesday

DUBROVNIK (Breakfast)

There’s so much to see in ‘Old Dubrovnik,’ as we take you to the highlights: the Rector’s Palace, the Bell Tower clock, Orlando’s Column, the Sponza Palace, the Dominican Monastery and the Franciscan Monastery with its pharmacy, one of the oldest in the world. The rest of the day is at leisure to re-visit a favorite site or bask in the warm Dalmatian sun on Dubrovnik’s sunny beaches.

DAY 7 Thursday

DUBROVNIK (Breakfast)

After breakfast, we drive across the border into Montenegro. Our first stops are in Risan and Kotor, site of the picturesque bay, one of the longest, deepest fjords in southern Europe. From here, our route takes us to Cetinje, once seat of Montenegro’s rulers, today a museum city. We head back to the coast with short stops in scenic Sveti Stefan and Budva, before reaching Dubrovnik in early evening.

DAY 8 Friday

DUBROVNIK - SPLIT (Breakfast, Dinner)

The road goes north from Dubrovnik to Split, along the breezy, beautiful Adriatic coast, past old fishing villages and modern resorts. A UNESCO World Cultural Heritage city, Split is renowned for its inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace. Your sightseeing tour includes this highlight and other remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, the Cathedral, as well as Renaissance and Gothic monuments.

DAY 9 Saturday


We travel farther along the coast to Trogir, a popular gathering place for artists from around the world, who come here to study and paint. Our destination today is the national park housing the spectacular Plitvice Lakes.

DAY 10 Sunday

PLITVICE LAKES (Breakfast, Dinner)

We give you a full day in this beautiful location, another UNESCO World Heritage site. This natural wonder consists of 16 terraced lakes in a setting of thickly wooded forests and lush vegetation. In the morning, take a walking tour around several of the lower lakes. The balance of the day is yours to enjoy this unique spot with its one-of-a-kind, breathtaking scenery.

DAY 11 Monday


We return to the coast and the beautiful bay of Kvarner with its popular resort, Opatija. Then we head to Postojna, home of one of the largest caves in Europe. Here we tour the subterranean world by miniature electric train. Afterwards, our journey continues to Ljubljana.

DAY 12 Tuesday


Our morning tour of Ljubljana begins with a visit to the open-air market, City Hall, Robba’s Fountain, the Three Bridges and the Parliament. Later on, we drive to Bled, beautifully situated in the Julian Alps. Return to Ljubljana in the evening.

DAY 13 Wednesday


We leave Ljubljana this morning, bound for the mesmerizing charms of romantic, intriguing Venice, ‘Queen of the Adriatic.’ On the way we stop in Trieste, Italy for orientation tour and visit to Miramare Castle.

DAY 14 Thursday

VENICE (Breakfast, Dinner)

There is no other city quite like Venice! It reigns supreme among the world’s favorite destinations. This morning, we show you the major highlights: the Golden Basilica of San Marco, the Bridge of Sighs, St. Mark’s Square. Your walking tour ends with a visit to a glass-blowing factory where you can see demonstrations of traditional Venetian glass-blowing. The balance of the day is at leisure.

DAY 15 Friday

VENICE - USA (Breakfast)

The dream finishes this morning after breakfast, as we transfer you to the airport, where you catch your flight home.
